France announces nationwide public sector and airline personnel strikes

Various public sector and airline personnel unions in France have called for strikes to take place between Wednesday 21st March and Friday 23rd March. The strikes are due to start at 19:00 (local time). Air France pilots have voted in favour of a long-term strike, continuing past March 23rd if necessary.

A 24-hour strike by Rome’s public transport company ATAC is scheduled to take place on Friday 13th October, from 8.30am to 5pm and from 8pm onwards. Removal of Therapeutic Oxygen on Short-haul Flights

British Airways will no longer be providing therapeutic oxygen on short-haul flights departing on or after 1st February 2018. This also includes short-haul segments connecting to and from long-haul flights.
