Ryanair Verification Information for Corporate Travellers
Following on from recent concern surrounding the newly implemented Ryanair verification process, we have collated the following information for our corporate client’s reference. We aim to support our clients through this process and hope to make checking-in as efficient as possible for those flying with Ryanair in the future.
If you have been asked to verify your identity for your Ryanair flight, this is due to the booking being flagged as having been booked by a third-party travel agent. Although there are no rules against third-party travel agents making bookings with Ryanair, the verification will need to be done before travellers can check if randomly selected for this.
There are two options for verification:
• Express Verification – To complete the process, you will need to have the Ryanair booking reference code, your passport or National Identity Card, and a device (phone, tablet, or laptop) with a camera to hand. You will be asked to pay €/£0.59c. This is a charge from Ryanair. You will have to scan your passport and upload a selfie for verification purposes.
Standard Verification involves submitting a picture of a completed and signed Customer Verification Form together with a picture of your passport or national identification card (provided it contains your signature). Both signatures on each document will then be compared to ensure they match. This process can take up to 7 days, but we will prioritise bookings with the earliest departure date to ensure you are verified on time for your flight. This service is provided free of charge.
Passengers will not be able to check-in for flights unless the verification has been completed first.
